Long Range

Long Range Rifle

Dedicated long-range shooting with 200-yard and 600-yard steel targets.

  • Steel targets (center-fire rifle allowed, 50+ yards)
  • Monday 8:00 AM - Dark, Sunday 8:00 AM - Noon
  • Warning rope/sign system for safety

Back Hollow 200yd Range

Additional 200-yard range area in the back hollow for extended shooting.

  • 200-yard shooting distance
  • Separate from main bays
  • Must check clear before long-range shooting

Additional Safety Rules

  • Know how to use the gun
  • Be sure the gun is safe to operate
  • Use only the correct ammunition for your gun
  • Wear eye and ear protection as appropriate
  • Never use alcohol or drugs before or while shooting
  • Guns sitting in racks should not be accessible to unauthorized persons

USPSA Match

1st Saturday

Time: Registration 9:00 AM, Shooting 10:00 AM

Cost: $25 Non-members, $10 TAC2 members

FREE: Women, TAC2 Life Members, Juniors (17 & under with guardian)

Rounds: 4-7 stages, up to 200 rounds (max 36 per stage)

All USPSA divisions recognized. Points per second scoring.

IDPA Match

2nd Saturday

Time: Registration 9:00 AM, Shooting 10:00 AM

Cost: $25 Non-members, $10 TAC2 members

FREE: Women, TAC2 Life Members, Juniors (17 & under with guardian)

Rounds: 5-7 stages, 100-150 rounds per match

9mm/.38 SPL or larger carry pistols. True carry rigs only.

Steel Challenge

4th Sunday

Time: Registration 12:30 PM, Shooting 1:00 PM

Cost: $25 Non-members (2 guns), $10 TAC2 members

FREE: TAC2 Life Members, Ladies, Juniors (17 & under with guardian)

Rounds: 4-6 stages, 125 rounds minimum (if you don't miss!)

Center-fire/rim-fire pistols or rim-fire rifles. Hip holsters only.

Membership Information

Become a member of Tennessee's most exclusive private outdoor gun range. Members receive gate code access and basically unlimited use of facilities.

Membership Includes:

  • Primary Member: The person on the membership application
  • Secondary Members: Spouse and children under 21 (supervised by primary member)
  • Gate Code Access: Personal code for facility entry
  • Guest Privileges: Bring visiting friends/family from outside 7 counties

New Member Requirements:

  • Orientation Tour: Required before receiving gate code
  • Scheduling: Must schedule by Wednesday for Saturday tour
  • Orientation Fee: One-time $25 fee + annual dues

Annual Membership

$200/year

January 1 - December 31

  • Primary member access
  • Spouse included
  • Children under 21 (living at home)
  • Gate code access
  • Guest privileges

Important: Renewals not paid by January 31 will be subject to new member requirements including $25 orientation fee.

Important Range Rules

Shooting Hours

  • No shooting before 8:00 AM
  • No shooting after dark without approval
  • Long Range: Mondays 8:00 AM - Dark, Sundays 8:00 AM - Noon
  • No other shooting during long-range sessions

Target Rules

  • Steel in bays: Handgun/shotshell/rimfire only, 12+ yards minimum
  • 200/600yd steel: Center-fire rifle/slugs allowed, 50+ yards minimum
  • No steel shot, armor piercing, or steel core ammo on steel
  • Dispose of paper targets properly

Prohibited Items

  • Absolutely no alcohol on premises at any time
  • No glass bottles or similar targets
  • No camping allowed
  • Gate codes are personal - sharing results in immediate revocation

Facility Care

  • Replace target stands after use
  • Clean up brass and trash
  • Report any damage immediately
  • Take trash with you if cans are full
